THE WRITE BRIDGE JOURNAL: SUMMER 2024 – GRIEF AND COMFORT
$19.99
In each edition of The Write Bridge, readers are encouraged to “mind the gap” as writers and artists with powerful voices explore topics that broaden our thinking.
In a 1936 Esquire article entitled “The Crack Up,” author F. Scott Fitzgerald wrote:
“Before I go on with this short history, let me make a general observation—the test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposed ideas in the mind at the same time, and still retain the ability to function. One should, for example, be able to see that things are hopeless and yet be determined to make them otherwise. This philosophy fitted on to my early adult life, when I saw the improbable, the implausible, often the ‘impossible,’ come true.”
The Write Bridge presents two opposing ideas for creators and readers to delve into—seriously or in fun—in order stretch our imaginations, to move beyond boundaries, to bridge the gap.
We hope the themes for The Write Bridge Journal Summer 2024 edition, Grief and Comfort, will inspire strength and hope, as well as entertain you.
